Past indefinite
Past indefinite tense का प्रयोग भूतकाल मैं किये कार्य को बताने के लिए होता है | इसके साथ अक्सर भूतकाल के समयसूचक शब्दों का प्रयोग होता है | जैसे yesterday, a week ago, last year etc.
जैसे
वह यहाँ कल आया था |
He came here yesterday.
मुझे तुम्हारा message पिछले हफ्ते मिला था |
I received you message last week.
उसने पिछले साल स्कूल छोड़ दिया |
She left school last year.
English speaking course
कभी कभी past indefinite tense मैं समय सूचक सब्दो का प्रयोग नहीं होता है | पर वाक्य से क्रिया के भूतकाल मैं होने का पता चलता है |
जैसे
मैंने अंग्रेजी लखनऊ मैं सीखी |
I learnt English in Lucknow.
इस वाक्य से हमें english सीखने का काम भूतकाल मैं हुआ हैं पता चलता है | अतः इस वाक्य को past indefinite मैं ही बनायेंगे |
मैं सही से सो नहीं पाया |
I didn’t sleep well.
उन्होंने मेरी सहायता की |
They helped me
वह रोज कई घंटे पढता था |
He studied many hours every day.
वह रोज सुबह चाय पिया करता था |
He drank tea every morning.
Past indefinite tense के वाक्यों को english मैं translate करने का तरीका |
past indefinite टेंस के affirmative sentence मैं verb की 2nd form का प्रयोग होता है |
structure – subject + verb 2nd from + object.
रेल ट्रेक्टर से टकराई |
Train collided with tractor trolley.
वह बाकी लोगो की तरह चुप रहा |
He kept mum like the rest.
Negative sentence in Past indefinite tense – नकारात्मक वाक्यों का इंग्लिश मैं ट्रांसलेशन करने का तरीका |
Past indefinite tense के negative sentence मैं verb कि first form और did helping verb का प्रयोग होता है
structure – subject + did + not + verb 1st from + object.
आज मोहन नहीं हकलाया
Today Mohan did not stammer.
आज राम नहीं तुतलाया
Ram did not lisp today.
तुमने मेरे सवाल का जवाब नहीं दिया
You did not answer my question.
मैंने आप को पहचाना नहीं |
I did not recognize you.
मैंने यह अपनी आँखों से नहीं देखा
I did not see it with my own eyes.
हमने उनमें से किसी को दुबारा नहीं देखा
We did not see any of them again.
Interrogative sentences को english मैं translate करने का तरीका |
First type interrogative को English मैं translate करने का तरीका -
Structure – Did + subject + verb 1st form + object.
क्या तुमने किसी से आने के लिए पूंछा ?
Did you ask anybody to come?
क्या तुम उसके पापा को देखने हॉस्पिटल गए थे ?
Did you go to see his father to the hospital?
क्या तुम दिल्ली मैं दस साल रहे ?
Did live in Delhi for ten years?
क्या रीता ने वहाँ तमाशा बनाया ?
Did Rita create a scene there?
क्या तुमने उसकी बात नहीं सुनी ?
Did you not listen him?
क्या आज बारिश नहीं हुई थी ?
Did it rain today?
Second type interrogative को English मैं translate करने का तरीका –
Structure – Question word + Did + subject + verb + object.
उसने मेरी बहुत तारीफ़ क्यों की
Why did he praise me to the sky?
तुम अपने वादे से क्यों मुकर गए ?
Why did you go back on your words?
तुम भिकारी पर क्यों हँसे थे ?
Why did you laugh at beggar?
आप मुंबई से कब आये ?
When did you return from Mumbai?
तुम इतनी जल्दी वापस क्यों आ गये ?
Why did you come back soon ?
आप वापस कब आये ?

उसे क्या हुआ ?

वह यहाँ क्यों आया था ?

Who और never के साथ did helping verb का प्रयोग नहीं करते |
उन्हें वहाँ कोन ले गया ?

यह तुमसे किसने कहा था

यह तुमसे किसने कहा ?

मैं वहाँ कभी नहीं गया

Practice of the past indefinite tense
मैंने यह अपनी मर्जी के खिलाफ किया
I did it against my will.
उसने मेरी सलाह का गलत मतलब निकाला
He took my advice amiss.
नई दीवार के मलबे के नीचे 21 लोग मर गए |
Twenty one laborers died under the debris of new wall.
मुझे इस बात का पता लग गया |
I got wind of this matter.
मेरा दिल धक से कर गया
My heart jumped.
कमल ने अपने नोकर को जॉब से निकाल दिया |
Kamal kicked of his servant.
उसने हीरे का हार पहना था
She wore a diamond necklace
तुमने अच्छा काम किया
You did a good job.
उसने अपने पिता का क़र्ज़ चूका दिया
He paid off his father debts.
मैं खून का घूँट पीकर रह गया
I pocketed insult.
Structure -
जब प्राकृतिक मोत होती है तो of preposition का प्रयोग करते हैं
वह बुखार से मर गई
She died of fever.
वह भूख से मर गई
She died of hunger.
जब अप्राकृतिक मोत होती है तो to preposition का प्रयोग होता है
उसे गला घोटकर मारा गया
He was throttle to death.
उसे मुंह मैं कपडा ठूंस के मारा गया
He was muffle to death.
उसे चाकू भोक के मारा गया |
He was stabbed to death.
गला घोंट के मारना throttle
कपडा ठूंस के मारना muffle
चाकू भोक के मारना stab
उसकी कार कुत्ते पे चढ़ गई |
His car ran over a dog.
उसने मेरी आवाज अनसुनी कर दी |
He turned a deaf ear to my prayer |
हमने उसे बदमाश समझा
We thought him a rascal.
मैं तुम्हारी आवाज एकदम पहचान गया
I recognized your voice at once.
उसने बहुत धेर्य दिखाया |
He showed much patience.

He slept till eight o’clock.
मैंने उसे पीछे छोड़ दिया |
I left him behind.
मैंने हर जगह देखा |
I looked everywhere.
मैंने हर जगह ढूंडा |
I searched everywhere.
उसने आदेश मानने से मना कर दिया |
He refused to obey the order.
उसने एक घंटा इन्तजार किया |
He waited an hour.
वह पूरी जोर से चिल्लाया |
He shouted at the top of his voice.
कैदी ने अपने आप को फांसी लगा दी |
The prisoner hanged himself.
उन्होंने स्कूल की नींव रखी |
He laid the foundation of the school.
मैंने यह अपने दोस्त से सुना |
I heard this through a friend of mine.
हमें समय रहते पता चल गया |
We got to know in time.
मैंने तुम्हे जाते देखा था
I saw you go.
मैं खुद उनके घर गया था |
I myself went to their house.
सभी लोग उसपे हँसे |
Everybody laughed at him.
उसने खुद ही ऐसा कहा |

Past indefinite
